The Wall

Hey there child, Come closer,
Open your eyes, lend me your ears.

Hello my friends,
Come on here,
Put down the pint, I want to share you my fears.

In the northern country,
Where the grass painted emerald
The sky as clear as sapphire
The walls are decorated with blood and tears.

In the northern country,
House two brothers, lost
Searching for their identity
Fighting for the same cause
It's sad, too sad, they have different ideology.

In the northern country,
The land flourishes with beautiful creatures
Their mind buries with the amazing literatures
Still, divided they are by the walls and breeches
Mothers drown in tears.

In the northern country,
Where boys are are men way before time
Whose blood are spilled for the spoilt ignorance
While the womb plead for the split second of peace
What of it to come from this quarrel?

My friends, my folk, my love
In this northern country where walls kept them apart

Is where I left my heart.
