He looked at the pile of chocolates in front of him as his mind drifted off somewhere else. A ton of chocolate would not satisfy him. A million of valentine wishes will never be enough. Not until he said it to him. The one voice that he waited to hear. The one voice that gives him strength when he is too tired to move. That one voice that made him have all the energy to dance even after all those jargons had been pumped into his head.
Inoo sighed as he stood up and walked out to the lounge where other younger members were happily eating their chocolates away and swapping stories. Inoo just took a seat on the lone sofa when a boy pulled him. “Why on earth are you uberly stubborn?” Takaki scolded the paler boy. Inoo just shot him a questioning look. “Look we all know that you want to say it to Kota, just do it already. He is never going to confess to you, might as well you do it. Besides, you have bought his favorite chocolate.”
“Eh~~?” Inoo responded. “How did you know I bought valentine’s chocolates?” he questioned. Without answering him, Takaki just pulled him to Inoo’s room. The younger ones stared at them unblinking. “Was it Daiki?” He questioned as he trailed the older boy. “Was it? I’m going to kill that midget.” He said turning around, heading for the other room where BEST were sitting.
“No. It was not Dai-chan. I saw you buying chocolates. Besides, you and Ko are like conjoined twins. When are you going to give him the chocolates.” Takaki said despite being exposed of stalking, he went told Inoo. “And never call Daiki a midget again.” His face turned stern as he spoke. “Hurry up, valentine’s going to be over in a few hours now.” Takaki pushed the younger one.
Sighing loudly, Inoo just took the white teddy bear hugging a chocolate filled red heart in the middle and trailed the older boy. “Fine.” He hissed. “Why are you butting in anyways?” He questioned suddenly before entering the room.
“Because I don’t want to confess alone.” Takaki admitted.
“Chinen?” Inoo questioned. Takaki just smiled at him slyly, shrugging his broad shoulders. Rolling his eyes the two boys entered the quieter room where three pairs of eyes fell on them. “Kota-kun, arigatou.” Inoo began. “Hikaru, would you be my valentine?” Inoo spoke as Takaki gasps. Yaotome rose from the chair as he nodded. A handmade chocolate was exchanged in return. He smiled. “And?” Inoo looked at Takaki then at Chinen who was peeking at the door, giggling nervously.
“Dai-chan, would you be my valentine?” Takaki spoke kneeling down as he offered his boxed chocolate to the younger boy. Arioka took in a nervous breath as he prepared himself to speak. Takaki who was looking towards the floor lifted his head to look at the younger boy. “Why are you hesitating?” He whispered.
“Gomen ne. But, Ryu-chan beat you to it.” Arioka said smiling slightly. “Hontou, gomen.” He said as he rose from his chair and walked out of the room, leaving Takaki stunned. Outside, Chinen was on his back rolling laughing, until he heard Morimoto’s name.
“What?” Chinen’s laugh was cut suddenly. “That cheating little brat~~~” He spoke as he stomped back towards the room where they were at. The crashing of furniture was heard after, yet, what happened between Arioka and 7 is yet to be determined.
